When the Radici Group, a global leader in the field of engineered materials, planned to build a high-tech new materials base in Suzhou, integrating sales, production, and research and development, its vision of creating a green, environmentally friendly environment that combines performance and aesthetics coincided with CENTRIA International's long-standing practices.
The aim of the Radici project is to use the most advanced green technology to create a building with low energy demand and high durability and sustainability. After listening to the requirements of the Radici project, CENTRIA International's Technical Director, Mr. Jin Hua, decisively recommended CENTRIA International's Insulated Metal Panels with the DSR-J panel type - the innovative "J-Section” pressure-equalization joint ensures high performance against wind and rain, and is a strong guarantee for the long-term use of the building. The hot-press-formed panels are extremely flat, providing a crisp, smooth visual effect to the building. Not only that, CENTRIA International, as the only manufacturer of Insulated Metal Panels in China to have obtained the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and Health Product Declaration (HPD) supplier certifications, is proud to have supported the Radici project in obtaining the LEED Gold (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and GBL-2 star certifications.
Another highlight of this project is the perfect realization of the decorative effect of the shaped customized panels, which are used extensively on the façade. The design concept is mainly based on traditional Chinese architectural patterns, simplified by graphic extraction, and placed in a large number of staggered positions, which corresponds to the logo of Radici. It is also a good wish for the prosperous development of this globalized company from Italy in China. So how was this special design realized for the building facade? First of all, CENTRIA International customized a large number of non-standard panels to match the different shaped windows, which not only reflects the aesthetics of the design, but also ensures the functionality of the building's heat preservation and lighting. The special shape of its various shaped metal insulated panels echoes the design of the curtain wall on the front of the building, leading to a distinctive facade effect with a sophisticated sense of design. What this effect represents is the precision processing of each panel size, and CENTRIA International's pursuit of excellence in every detail and every process. Only in this way do we have the confidence to make a solemn promise to every client to bring a beautiful architectural vision into reality. Never limited to supplying high-quality, highly customized panels, CENTRIA International is also known for strong customer service and innovative solutions. In order to ensure the best presentation of the project, our technical team had many discussions with the general contractor and architects, and in a very short period of time, we optimized the practice of the sub-structure on the inside of the windows, which made the building look more technological and modern, breaking the stereotypical image of a traditional factory building.
Currently, the plant in Suzhou has been successfully put into service. May more world-impacting eco-friendly materials be born from this extraordinary green building in Radici, and CENTRIA International will also continue to construct the Inimitable.
